How you both met: We met at a bar in Columbia, SC. Stephen sent a friend to talk to me and my friend.
Your proposal: Stephen and Ethan (Stephan’s son) proposed at my house with roses and he made dinner.
Style/Inspiration for your wedding: For our Odyssey Boat Wedding, obviously it is water theme. I am obsessed with dolphins and the ocean. The Shedd Aquarium is my favorite place in Chicago and I love being on a boat!
Details that mattered to you: Location and the Chicago skyline. I am excited about the Chicago skyline views from the Odyssey.
What you love about your dress: I love the open back, beads, and lace.
Photographer’s Notes: This was the second boat wedding of the year, and my first time on the Odyssey! We started off at Navy Pier and coasted along the Chicago skyline while Megan and Stephan danced their way into the evening. Of course with family and friends in tow! It really was a magical night and I hope the start to more boat weddings in the next year!
