Couple: A and C
Location: Chicago Montrose Harbor Engagement
Style/Inspiration: The Chicago lakefront, parks and the couple’s doggie, Steve!

Photographer Notes: I love summer engagement sessions! And one of the many reasons is because of the beautiful light, and the lush greenery. For A&C ‘s engagement session, we started right in the city, in Washington Park, on the city’s gold coast neighborhood. The couple wanted to have a little picnic with their lovable pooch, Steve. So, they pitched a little area in the park, had some picnic tidbits, and I was there to take the pics. Washington Park is right across the street from Newberry Library, one of the best wedding venues in the city. And this park is home to many dog-walkers, sightseers and neighborhood folk just taking in the sunshine. Which made for a perfect spot for pics!

Afterwards, we drove to Montrose Harbor-one of my favorite spots year round for wedding and engagement sessions. Why? Because you have the Chicago skyline in the background, the prairie fields of the bird sanctuary and the sandy lakefront. All in one place! Our couple loved this spot and we had so much fun, we ran the harbor until sunset. Thanks to the couple for such a wonderful session. And to their doggie Steve who made us all laugh!
