Engagement Session Stories: For this Chicago lakefront engagement and Lily pond location, Katelyn and Jonathan were a breeze to work with and our session was non-stop laughter! Since the couple absolutely adore the outdoors and summer, the Lilly Pond was our first stop for the session. The Lilly Pond is one of my favorite engagement session locations. The place was so lush and green, every angle and picture was full of robust summer colors. In the summertime, the Lilly Pond is one of those hidden oasis in Chicago where anyone can go and be among tranquil surroundings. It’s a quiet place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Also, the Lilly Pond is part of the Lincoln Park Zoo area where is there is the Conservatory Walk and the gardens for other locations for any type of session.
For our second location, we tried North Beach which was full of volleyball players and beach goers. I suggested the Adler Planetarium lakefront as an alternative Chicago Lakefront engagement place for pics, and after a quick circle we headed for museum campus and the lakefront. Turns out, the light was perfect for our session and we were able to capture the Chicago lakefront in all it’s glory. Thanks so much to the couple for an epic session!
