My Mountain Styled Shoot at The Heaven’s Venue
I love styled shoots! They keep me creative, and take me to places where I’ve never been to. My latest styled shoot escapade was up in the mountains of Hot Springs, North Carolina, at The Heaven’s Venue.
Mother Nature couldn’t make up her mind that day because we had a mix of rain, sleet, snow, and sunshine. But, unpredictable weather makes for the best stories.
So, what went down? Three shoots, each with its own dose of charm. First off, we cozied up in a barn for a dreamy bridal session. Soft lighting, a stunning bride, and just a touch of rain to keep things interesting, which set the mood for a gorgeous bridal session with killer light.
Then, we braved the elements for some outdoor couple sessions. Raindrops, sleet pellets, and a sprinkle of snow? Our couples were absolute troopers, turning every weather curveball into an opportunity for romance.
The details! A charming, rustic cake, mouthwatering desserts, and one of the largest charcuterie boards, I have even seen. After the shoot ended, we all had a taste of all the treats, and I can say undeniably that everything was super delicious!
Behind the scenes, it was a whole lotta teamwork, and the occasional scramble for cover when the skies decided to open up. Yet, through it all, there was a sense of camaraderie that made every moment worthwhile.
