A Love Story that began in NYC

Joyce and Matt’s journey began ten years ago in the heart of New York City. Fate brought them together at a chic bar while both were on vacation. Joyce, a compassionate veterinarian, and Matt, a charismatic professional gambler, hit it off immediately. Their story is all about serendipity, longevity and adventurous spirits!

Mountain Vibes and Spring Sunshine

Despite days of torrential downpours leading up to their wedding, the skies cleared just in time for a sunny and warm spring day. The vibrant mountain backdrop of Chestnut Ridge set the scene for a celebration filled with laughter, love, and stunning views. The couple chose this venue for its breathtaking mountain vistas and romantic ambiance, making it the perfect spot to start their new chapter together.

Elegance in Attire

Matt and his groomsmen donned classic black suits, while the bridesmaids stunned in off-the-shoulder, light green silky dresses that perfectly complemented the lush greenery of the venue. Joyce was super-chic in a simple and elegant strapless gown for the ceremony, later changing into a cute short dress for her send-off. Every detail was thoughtfully chosen to enhance the natural beauty of their surroundings.

A Feast for the Senses

Being avid foodies, Joyce and Matt treated their guests to a culinary delight. They had not one, but two caterers—Sage and Spice, and Gan Chan, the latter honoring Joyce’s Chinese heritage. This blend of flavors and traditions added a unique and personal touch to their celebration, leaving all the guests devouring every single morsel of food!

Special Moments and Traditions

One of the most touching moments was Joyce incorporating a picture of her and her mom on a bouquet charm, keeping her mother close to her heart throughout the day. Another standout memory was having the couple’s first dance.
