Couple: Liz and Mike
Venue: Rosemont Loews Hotel Wedding
Style/Inspiration: Modern and fun!

How you both met: We met years ago through a mutual friend while watching the Stanley Cup Finals. We went on several dates over the course of two months, but eventually went our separate ways. Three years later, while both living in the city, we reconnected and the rest is history! Timing is everything.

Your proposal: I wanted to take one final vacation before beginning a new job. Eventually we agreed to head west to San Francisco, since neither of us had ever traveled there before. We took a day-trip to Napa via ferry and did a winery tour. At the second stop, Rutherford Ranch, Mike got down on a knee on a beautiful bridge overlooking the winery. I said “yes”, and here we are!

Style/Inspiration for your wedding: We wanted a modern, fun feel, while still keeping with tradition.

Details that mattered to you: Mike and I both adore live music (it is something that really brought us together), so having a live band was important to us. It was also important for us to share the day with as many of our closest friends and family as possible.

What you love about your dress: I feel like a princess! It is exactly what I always imagined myself wearing on my special day.
