The couple’s story

When it comes to Sarah and Lorenzo’s North Carolina Micro Wedding, their journey from college friends to a blissful couple is a darn cute story.  Sarah and Lorenzo’s love story began in halls of their college campus. They were thrown together while taking a required training course and soon became fast friends. Over the years, their friendship deepened as they navigated the challenges of college life together. The couple’s shared interests, similar values, and a mutual understanding laid the foundation for a bond that would stand the test of time.

Proposal time

For Lorenzo, the proposal had to be as memorable and natural as their love story. He chose to pop the question during a hike in the picturesque setting of Mt. Tamalpais in California. What made this moment even more special was that Lorenzo had invited his family to join them on the hike. With the breathtaking backdrop of nature, surrounded by loved ones, he got down on one knee and asked Sarah to be his forever. Of course she said, Yes!

Wedding style

Lorenzo and Sarah’s vision for their wedding was clear from the start – they wanted a relaxed garden party that celebrated their love in a mountain setting. The couple picked the Blackberry Springs Farm located in Marshall, North Carolina just a few miles north of Asheville for their wedding ceremony and reception. Blackberry estate is nestled in the beautiful mountains of western NC and the grounds are perfect for an outdoor ceremony and garden reception.

The details

What sets this wedding apart are the details that mattered most to the couple. Sarah and Lorenzo prioritized capturing genuine and candid moments over formal portraits, ensuring that their wedding photos would reflect their natural selves. The choice of an outdoor setting further accentuated this desire for authenticity, allowing the beauty of nature to play a significant role in their celebration.

The gorgeous dress

When it came to Sarah’s wedding dress, she fell in love with the back design and the satin material. It perfectly embodied her style – elegant and sexy with a touch of chic-ness.

A big surprise

One amazing surprise at the wedding is that Sarah arranged for Jack’s 47 mobile bar to dish out their favorite mix drinks and beers. Since Lorenzo loves vintage cars, this was such an unexpected surprise for Lorenzo and the everyone thoroughly enjoyed all the drinks throughout the night!

For me, Sarah and Lorenzo’s day really was a dream wedding. The weather was perfect and I had an absolute blast with all 50 of the couple’s friends and family. The details were so thoughtful, and the food was amazing along with every corner of the estate. Congratulations to Sarah and Lorenzo! I enjoyed every minute of your wedding celebration.
