Couple: Dina and Al
Venue: Chicago Big Greek Wedding at Coitillion Banquets
Style/Inspiration: Elegant and traditional.
How you both met: I met Albert through his cousin who is now married to my best friend.
Your proposal: This was amazing and I had no idea. He stated we were staying downtown Chicago for a weekend as a present for Mother’s Day. We had dinner reservations so we were dressed up and walked a few blocks to what I thought was a restaurant. As we were walking through the Chicago art gardens there were his two daughters holding up a sign that said “Will you marry my dad.” He then got on one knee and proposed. The first thing I said was did you ask my mom LOL.
That wasn’t all, Albert and I were walking into the restaurant and there were my sister and brother-in-law who were flown in from Arizona for the special proposal. The next day I thought the four of us were going to dinner. When I got to the hotel lobby I hear surprise he had invited my entire immediate family for dinner. A weekend I will never forget!
Style/Inspiration for your wedding: For my Chicago Big Greek Wedding, I wanted an elegant and classy reception with a traditional Greek ceremony to honor my family.
