Couple: Sarah and Tom
Venue: Chicago River Roast Wedding
Style: Chic, elegant city wedding

How you met: Tinder app as it turns out, we were living only a block away from each other at the time.

Your proposal: At one of our favorite outdoor parks in Chicago, Promontory Point, where we enjoy biking via the lakefront trail. It was a beautiful sunny day in March and Tom counted down his top five favorite memories of our relationship ending with #1, the proposal 🙂

Style/Inspiration for your wedding: Elegant, classic and showcasing Chicago.

Details that mattered to you: Location of venue, and good food!

What you love about your dress: A modern classic with a timeless silhouette.

Photographer Notes: This wedding really was a quintessential Chicago wedding that had the ceremony and reception right along the river at the Chicago River Roast, with one of the best views of the city! After the ceremony, the wedding party and newly married couple hopped on a river boat and made a surprise entrance for their cocktail hour! The whole entire day was so much to photograph with plenty of gorgeous city backdrops along the way. We really spent most of our time along the Chicago Riverwalk, weaving in and out of architectural spots and bridges. Thanks so much to the couple for such an amazing time!
