Couple: Lauren and Paul
Venue: Fig and Olive Micro-Wedding
Style: Intimate, foodie wedding celebration with our family and friends.

How you both met: We met through mutual friends from high school and college at a music festival.

Your proposal: We got engaged underneath a waterfall in Hawaii.

Wedding vibe: Chicago-chic wedding with our beloved guests, at a fabulous restaurant near Michigan Avenue.

Photographer Notes: Lauren and Paul’s micro-wedding was on one of the most perfect days of the summer. The whole wedding was not only a celebration of their close family and friends but also all about Chicago. The whole day encompassed about 4 blocks of downtown Chicago! We started at one of my favorite hotels, The Drake. And had the first look right across the street at 4th Presbyterian Church courtyard.  The couple’s venue was literally, a 5-minute walk from the courtyard, so we just walked down some nearby streets and enjoyed the gorgeous weather. Their heartfelt ceremony was right in the restaurant along with the reception. After a delicious dinner, all the guests flowed onto the deck for some dancing and more celebrations. Such a fun day with such a beautiful couple!

(Please know that all the guests had Covid tests before the wedding, along with temperature checks before they entered the restaurant)
