How you both met: We met through a dating app (specifically Hinge) in 2014, both living in Chicago. We had our first date at Small Bar and love blossomed over wine and cheese curds.

Your proposal: Kyle proposed to Stephanie on one knee in their neighborhood of Fulton Market. Then, he surprised her with an engagement party at their favorite local bar, Aberdeen Tap.

Style/Inspiration for your wedding: For our Ignite Glass Studio wedding, we wanted an urban, outdoor (fingers crossed), romantic, fun wedding!

What you love about your dress: I love how classic it looks and it’s understated fashion. Not to mention pockets!

Photographer Notes: Stephanie and Kyle’s wedding day was full of laughs, beer, rain and some crazy dancing! The day started out with a memorable first look, right down the street from their home. Afterwards, we stopped off for a couple of beers at the Aberdeen Tap, the couple’s favorite bar. Then, we ventured all around the chic, urban Fulton Market neighborhood for couple and wedding party pics.

Throughout the day, there were lingering rain clouds but the rain never came. However, when it was time for the ceremony, and right when Stephanie walked down the aisle-the rain came! No worries!! All the guests just popped up their umbrellas and the ceremony continued. The couple has some beautiful words for each other and their loved ones’ stayed thru the rain. After that, the reception was full of crazy dancing and it was all a perfect end to an amazing day.
