How you both met: We met through my college roommate. She had a friend visiting her (who is a groomsman) and he decided to bring Vlad along with him for a night out at Western. We hit it off immediately traveling back and fourth from WIU to Bradley to visit. But, were never able to “officially” date because of the distance. After college Vlad (a Kentucky native) moved to Chicago and I moved to Orlando to intern at Disney. Vlad always kept in touch but time went by and we both had separate lives. A couple weeks after I moved home, Vlad contacted me to hang out since it had been a couple years since we saw each other. And the rest is history! He claims he loved me the night we met and always knew I would be his.
Style/Inspiration for your wedding: When asked by our wedding photographer to summarize our wedding in 3 words we chose “Romantic, Garden, and Party”. It will be a vibe of garden romance, boho chic and classic elegance. We love the beautiful garden where we will be getting married. Also, the elegant ballroom with floor to ceiling windows and white french doors that give it an indoor/outdoor feel. It is important to us that our guests are able to enjoy the party inside and also the bar outdoors where string lights will set our romantic vibe. The venue is already super beautiful. Bu, we plan on enhancing it with a ton of flowers and little details to give it that whimsical feel for our guests to enjoy.
Details that mattered to you: It’s all in the details for me! I spent more time than I am proud of planning out all the pretty details.
What you love about your dress: I love every single thing about it but what I love most is that I can move naturally in it and it feels light and flowery. I feel like the best version of myself in it.
