For about five years, I have wanted to do a Ziggy Stardust wedding styled shoot!  I really wanted to showcase a rock-n-roll couple in a ultra-cool venue, with glittering details and a vintage glam vibe. As I searched for partners to help with my idea, I was lucky to hook-up with an amazing wedding planner, Laura Reitsma from Fierce Productions, who shared my passion and vision for the styled shoot.

Meanwhile, for about two months, we gathered Ziggy-inspired vendors including Low-Res Studios, located in an industrial and trendy part of the city. With the venue’s lofted space, graffiti walls and gorgeous light, we were able to create the perfect setting for our shoot. In addition, we picked a vintage color palette of reds, pinks, greys and blues.  And along with a little fringe, metallics and even some feathers to create some unique textures. We wanted the end product to pay homage to a truly legendary artist, while creating inspiration for Bowie and Ziggy fans for their next wedding or event.
