How you both met: We met through our mutual friends, Ashley and Mike. Ashley is Jacqueline’s best friend and Mike is Adam’s best friend (Ashley and Mike actually just married each other in early June). They introduced Jacqueline and Adam at a pub called Pop’s in the town where Jacqueline grew up (Palatine). The only words they spoke to each other that night were ‘Hi, nice to meet you.’ Jacqueline didn’t think Adam liked her until he messaged her on Facebook the next day, asking if he could take her out on a date.
Your proposal: After Jacqueline ran her second marathon, Adam proposed. He was standing there in a huge crowd, all dressed up, with a bouquet of flowers in hand. Jacqueline was caught completely by surprise. She had no idea he would be proposing that day. They celebrated that night with each of their families at a dinner party.
Style/Inspiration for your wedding: Very natural- lots of whites and greens. Some touches of navy for the 4th of July.
Details that mattered to you: The flowers- bouquets and centerpieces. My dress.
What you love about your dress: The details. It is all lace and the details are incredible. Also, the bustle is gorgeous!
