Couple: Rowena and Geoff
Venue: Intimate Evanston Elopement
Style: Elopement in Chicago!

How you both met: Through mutual friends.

Your proposal: He proposed at Millennium Park, where we had our first date.

Style/Inspiration for your wedding: For our intimate Evanston Elopement we want a simple wedding with  close friends and family.

Details that mattered to you: I will have something old, new, borrowed, blue. Old – my mom’s ring, new – my dress, borrowed – my sister’s clutch with a photo of my grandparent’s on the inside, blue – in my bouquet.

What you love about your dress: It’s simple.

Photographer’s Notes: This was really a very close, intimate elopement in a very small, and lovely church. Nestled right inside Northwestern University campus. I think the church’s capacity was around 25 people, and it was the absolute perfect place for Rowena and Geoff’s wedding. We started the day at Lighthouse Beach, right down the street from the church, and had a wonderful couple session on the lakefront. Then, it was time to meet all the family at the church for a very simple, but heartfelt ceremony.

Rowena called a couple of days before the ceremony, and I was so happy that my weekend was free to document their spontaneous and momentous day!
