Couple: Joanna and Keven
Locations: Lincoln Park Engagement Session
Style/Inspiration: Urban parks and the summer!
Photographer’s Notes: For this Lincoln Park Engagement Session, the couple wanted to have pictures around their favorite neighborhood and park. We all headed out in some gorgeous summer weather, about two hours before sunset. To get the beautiful golden light and to avoid the crowds! We started at the very famous, Honeycomb sculpture along the Nature Walk. Afterwards, we took advantage of the empty park and just walked around the lush, green prairie fields. I really love the Nature Walk during the summer months. Everything is so overgrown and the flowers are in full bloom. It’s a perfect location for anyone who loves urban parks and nature.
Afterwards, we headed over to the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, for some sunset pictures. I think we probably got some of the best pictures of the day at this location. The light was stunning, and the couple really began to relax more. The Nature Museum is one of the hidden gems of the neighborhood. With it’s cute lake, prairie fields and greenery, you can find so many photo backdrops. This session was all about nature, water and the beautiful city gardens along the way. Congratulations to Joanna and Kevin! And, can’t wait for your wedding later in the year!
